Gr8 Bull!!

A man takes his wife to the County Fair and finds that one of the exhibits is a display of champion breeding bulls.
They come to the first pen which carries a sign saying, "This bull mated 50 times last year.
The wife pokes the husband in the ribs and says, "He mated 50 times last year."
They walk a little further and see another pen with a sign that says, "This bull mated 120 times last year."
The wife hits her husband in the back and says, "That's more than twice week!! ...You could learn a lot from him!!"
They walk on and come to a third pen with a bull and a sign saying "This bull mated 365 times last year."
The wife gets really excited, slaps her husband around the back of the head and says, "That's once a day !!! You could REALLY learn something from this one..!!!"
The husband, rather irritated by now, turns to her and says, "Go up and ask him if it was with the same old cow."

Ek Doctor Ki Maut

I happened to see this movie "Ek Doctor ki Maut" accidently and it became the movie of my life time..it left un-erasable impressions on my mind....You see this movie n yr life is made.....I really mean it..it is available on jaman.com..as the Cd of this movie is not easily available in d mkt..if u happen to get it anywhere  plz let me know....

When a director (that too as acclaimed as Tapan Sinha) starts off with a script as strong as this one, the expectations are bound to be high. And to our very good fortune, the end product lives up to its expectations. The story is that of a doctor(Pankaj Kapur....FYI...Ek Doctor Ki Maut means 'Death of a Doctor') who is trying to find a cure for leprosy.

The trouble is he works for a Government Hospital, and all the research is being done at his home laboratory. With no one to support him except his wife(Shabana Azmi), he has to fight his way out of the system to get his work noticed.

Ultimately when he actually finds out the cure, due to lack of proper facilities, he publishes the paper a bit too late. Some other researcher from another nation had already presented the cure.

All through the movie the doctor(played as convincingly as possible by Pankaj Kapur) has to fight the press(who think he is playing a con), his fellow doctors(to try to suppress him and later try to steal his invention) and the bureaucracy and red tap-ism of the system.

By the end of the movie one becomes hopelessly frustrated with the system and begins to feel the pain and anguish of the doctor. As the movie ends on a tragic note, one is left to wonder how many other doctors, scientists, inventors of India(or other such corrupt developing nations) have missed out on their chance to fame and glory.

Its a movie made from the heart. Don't miss it !!.

A Tryst with Raw Nature!!!

It was the post which I had written some months back..I liked this post coz of residual images n memories of that place in my mind n that is y I'm reposting it....never mind if you read it earlier(some of old friends)...

Last week one of my spiritual friends took me to one ashram, near haridwar amidst rajaji national park, which I had been deferring for quite some time. Having reached near Haridwar, we had to take some other route to the jungle where ashram is located...........It was pure fun to be in the jungle….but a fear was lurking in my mind which my friend cud read easily........and he assured me that anybody with conviction in Sidd Baba cud not be harmed ever on the way to that ashram, known as Siddhi ashram, and my nerves were lit bit calmed on hearing this....

On the way we came across bunches of deer n other harmless animals...And it was so exciting to be on such a track of wild animals.....And finally when we got there, in the evening, into the mid of the jungle after an hour journey....it was enthralling ……Ashram [located on the virgin bank of ganges....]. was surrounded by a fruit-laden gardens ....a gaushala at one end...........and ..it was as if  u r away into a different world away from human dust n contamination................and life can be so simple..........and stunningly beautiful.........at nite we ate prasadam, preapred by sadhus, devotees, who live there ...

We then went to sleep on roof of the concrete structure of the ashram.............

And it was awsome…...beyond words..............star-studded sky......looked like a decorated bride, waiting for her groom..........
Stars were so "Bright" n so "Close" that they cud easily be touched (Believe me!) and then wild noises emanating from the adjacent jungle....and then the mellifluent sound coming from the ganges .... it seemed like a dream place............I really cud not sleep n kept thinking that nature is so charming n beautiful.

And we humans ruthlessly destroy everything without a single trace of remorse......................
And while I was keeping awake to find a glimpse of some animal (from the roof ), I cud find a deer searching for something.........in that moon-lit nite.........I was enjoying the best moments of my life......And then suddenly a shooting star entered the sky from somewhere n burnt...................Perhaps I can't express what I saw n what I experienced that nite.................but surely I would be a frequent visitor to that heaven on earth whenever my soul wants to be in the lap of nature!!!

Mysterious ways of God!!

It was a breath-taking experience at one of the Delhi Govt.Hospitals, I happened to visit yesterday...

Life is full of miseries and especially poor people are worst affected by the brunt of any sort of ailments...they just have to go thru all traumatik experiences in govt. hospitals, life is so uncertain that what is in store for us in very next moment, we never know!!??

We should be thankful and be in gratitude to that Divine Powers for giving us healthy and cheerful existence otherwise there are somuch of sufferings and pains that life becomes a liability....

So cheer up guys!! Life is too short to crib and cringe...

"Count your blessings and not your troubles...."Enjoy the celebration called Life......."

And one thing I would like to let you all know, based on my experience, that "One must have medical insurance cover of atleast 2 lacs so that one may not have to go through financial agony in testing times" and don't have to visit govt. hospital in any circumstance.....

want to have more details in this context....pls feel free to get in touch wid me!!!

A man without a woman is like a fish without a bicycle.

Xcuse me, women folk...I just haapened to have read these quotes in some blog and I could not stop myself from spreading it  further but u must .........appreciate the sense of humour of men, ofcourse!!

A man without a woman is like a fish without a bicycle."

 ………………..

When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure one thing:

either the car is new or the wife.

……………………………………

I asked my wife,

"Where do you want to go for our anniversary?"

She said,

"Somewhere I have never been!"

I told her,

"How about the kitchen?"

……………………………………………….

We always hold hands. If I let go, she shops.

 …………………………………………………………..

My wife was in beauty saloon for two hours.

That was only for the estimate.

She got a mudpack and looked great for two days... Then the mud fell off.

………………………………………………………………………….

She ran after the garbage truck, yelling, "Am I too late for the garbage?"

Following her down the street I yelled, "No, jump in!"

……………………………………………………………………………………..

If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at

the front door, who do you let in first? The Dog of course...

at least he'll shut up after you let him in!

Wishes by Men n Women!!

FEMALE PRAYER

Before you lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong,
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks
I pray he's gainfully employed,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man, who'll make love to my mind,
Knows what to answer to "How big is my behind?"
I pray that this man will love me no end,
And never attempt to hit on my friend.
And as I pray beside my bed,
I look at the clown you sent me instead.

Amen.

MALE PRAYER

I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge assets
who owns a liquor store.

Amen

Food for Thought

The days slip into weeks, the weeks slip into months and the months slip into years.

Pretty soon, it is all over and we are left with nothing more than a heart filled with regret over the half-lived life.

Life

Living through the mysteries of life, one coclusion I have drawn........

Treat every day like a complete life span...so... try to live through each second, each minute and extract maximum pleasure out of it, simultaneously doing some of the activities which make our life worthy of this noble birth so that we can look into our eyes while we are standing in front of a mirror and be answerable to our conscience in the solitude.
Lotz of loves....
